I'm so glad Hershey Hamster has his den where we can see him.

My son had to go out on a walk to play Pokemon go during rat introductions. So I packed everyone up in a carrier and took them with us. That gave them something to worry about other than the new rat. Some don't do carrier introductions because it's like trauma bonding.

Hopefully third time is the charm. I got a group of four brother rats over 2 years ago. Then I got a pair of brother rats earlier this year, but they were kind of sickly in one of them did not survive getting neutered. So then I got a lone rat with a very sad backstory who I named Gulliver. 🧵
