Hot take, they need to like. DOUBLE the disability allowance payments. As it stands there is a massive hurdle for disabled people who want to live even semi-independently, the idea of paying rent, utilities and for groceries on the amount I earn is, frankly, absurd.

Shout-out to Corey Booker, what he did is insanely impressive and a powerful statement. I can only hope that the other members of his party can take this as an opportunity to get their shit together and provide a tangible resistance to the current administration.
