My guess is there will be no ceasefire until all hostages are released and/or Netanyahu is done. He is weaker now, so could be soon. And then what? What would deliver longterm peace and fairness for both sides… TBD

Do you mean you don’t believe in two-state-solution? Don’t think it’s possible/desirable/workable? I see people talking about one-state-solution but I can’t see that working.

Netanyahu & his allies need to go. Not sure how that will happen but Israeli public are against him so there’s a chance

I understand your point but I remember when it seemed impossible to negotiate peace in Northern Ireland. It comes when both sides have fought to a standstill. Willingness to compromise is highest after disaster. Those who want peace must shout loudest

Violence just begets more violence, spiralling to hell. The current disaster will hopefully create a crack through which peace-loving Gazans & Israelis can reach & build a movement for longterm peace 🙏🏼
