This particular instance isn’t directly stealing art, but it is helping the AI slowly improve. As AI gets more uses, the better it is at creating images. This can then be used to build image generators that look identical to actual art
Overall I do suggest looking up the downsides of AI.Theres a lot

If you’re an artist/art enjoyer, why use generative AI? Genuine question.
It’s very harmful to the environment and the use of AI overall is harmful to creatives :(
