If the administration could ever think beyond the next 5 minutes, it could save itself a ton of embarrassment. This is going nowhere, and everybody knows it. Complete waste of resources, but that is what this administration does.

No. The administration is undermining an ally in favor of a dictator. Not because it is in the nation’s interest… it’s in Trump’s personal interest. Trump prefers dictators. He can relate and admire the lawlessness associated with dictatorships
