I like (1) in that it is clear about what it is trying to test but that's also irrelevant to me. Just because a good chunk of users asks silly questions doesn't invalidate the software. As for (2), all questions work consistently that prompt the software to provide considerations for a problem.

I would also add that there are plenty of use cases where it's not about giving "correct" answers at all.

You’re right, of course and I should have been more specific. What I meant was that it’s the most self-explanatory symbol that doesn’t occurred naturally.
