"A brief respite"

I took this photo nearly a year ago today, trying to capture the feel of resting at the bonfires in Dark Souls. A momentary rest against the horrors of the world. I find myself feeling this way again, needing, to take some time to reflect and gather myself before pushing on.

Reposting some of my photos here from Instagram. This was a series of photos I took on a nearby nature trail, and as an added bonus, there's an Owowcow right next to it, so it became a weekend ritual to take some photos followed by getting ice cream
