Sure cause a billionaire can't afford to live in the well off private communities. Irvine is already recognized as one of the more desirable communities in the state. Its clearly about the taxes. Which is crazy, the state made in n out, but now she wants to get up and go.

Their presence in LA is the escalation. If they wanted to deescalate they would leave. The LA times needs to do better.

The fine would be a slap on the hand for some of these properties. A month or two of the revenues. Fines should be progressive. 150% of the anything above fair market value for every month collected or 10k whatever is higher.

Curious to know what vehicle it was and it's gross weight. Modern vehicles are so large and heavy, that I think bollards may not be able to keep up.
