BIERCE BIRTHPLACE HISTORICAL MARKER. The marker was dedicated on November 6, 2003, on the grounds of Eastern District High School, Ohio Route 7, Meigs County, about ten miles from the place of Bierce's birth along Horse Cave Creek on June 24, 1842. Specific birthplace unknown.
