The it’ll just be me and Billy adjusting to being a one-dog household.
Billy’s got separation anxiety but I work from home mostly, so we’ll see.
Gotta go grab some last pats now.

Then she roused and we took a long slow walk around the block, sniffing whatever she wanted and taking our time.
She’s still panting happily on a blanket and I’ll keep peppering her with snacks until we take our last trip. I’ve budgeted some time for a sniff along the vet’s street.

22 years ago, I was secretary of the QLD Peace Network that ran the Feb 16th peace rally here, one of the largest worldwide protests, against the imminent invasion of Iraq.

I think if you placed your hands on either side of Lt Ortegas' head, with your thumbs at her hairline and pushed up very lightly, her hair would pop off like a Lego minifig.

Superman was great. Cast, script, tone - spot on.
I get the lure of grit: too little and your characters can’t move forward, which is great for Saturday cartoons.
Too much and you come out of Superman movie feeling like you’ve been exfoliated halfway to the bone.
Instead I felt uplifted and hopeful.
