Yeah I was under the impression all that stuff about him being an appeaser was exaggerated and that he 1) didn't have the option of doing anything else politically and 2) immediately started a rearmament program afterwards because he wasn't stupid

I used to do that but my group shifted to players who took it a little too seriously, burnt resources on the roll, etc. It became apparent it produced more bad feelings than healthy tension.
