Happy St. Patrick’s Day Bernadette Devlin. Irish civil rights leader, youngest female MP ever elected in Ulster at 21. Shot 9 times in her home, in front of her kids by loyalist paramilitary, recovered, resumed speaking truth to power. We could use a politician with half her courage here today.
