What a story about male depravity. Read to the end about Larry Summers and Jeffrey Epstein’s bromance. And don’t miss the well-placed reminder about Summer’s IQ bullshit beliefs. Too bad Harvard can’t fully wash out that stain in its leadership tent. How is he still teaching??

If you haven’t yet, read Ronan’s book about the actual club of NYC media men and their long history sexually abusing women, helping each other, talking horribly about women and forcing NDAs to keep it quiet. Too many predators and coverups still in the industry.

😡 @ashtonpittman.bsky.social just shared one of the worst uses of the passive voice I’ve ever seen with me.
Make no mistake: Too many in journalism use passive voice on purpose to give passes and to soften certain news about power.
Why I basically outlaw it in our shop. (It also ruins writing.)

We visited @kampwesterbork.bsky.social. So much is about children Nazis imprisoned, tortured and killed, including Anne Frank, but so many others. Dutch authorities helped Nazis in this camp.
I think of it as masked Icemen mistreat children here. Also that US blocked safe haven for Jewish kids.

I just put this on Instagram and thought I’d share here. My post is not celebrity worship. It’s about the power of role modeling and how much women need to see other women making independent choices for selves even if against the societal grain. We can have more influence than we will ever know.
