Trump/GOP is against anything it perceives as "soft", compassionate, "gay", "woke", and which in anyway keeps a CEO from turning an extra buck. That includes public safety, WIC/SNAP, arts funding, cancer research, environmental protection, passenger rail/transit infrastructure etc.

There's a lot of overlap between folks who talk a big game about being "manly" in order to be a protector of women in the abstract and folks who routinely speak about, and treat, actual women with disrespect, derision, and abuse.
