Now that those agencies are so understaffed that they can barely function it is unlikely that those investigations will ever be completed. This will also cripple any further investigations if new violations occur.

It isn’t simple. The nature of the no-bid contracts and financial influence on the previous election as well as lobbying that has pushed NASA into privatization all are important.
