A lover of #wildlife and #photography, getting out into the great outdoors is what recharges my soul, and keeps me balanced. Living on the #westcoast of Canada offers so many beautiful and wild places to #explore. #wildlifephotography #vancouverisland
They touch our hearts in so many ways, it seems impossible to recover when they leave us. My sincere condolences… but I know all the love and memories will make it all worth while in time.

A favourite memory shot taken in Etosha, on a photo trip. We had been searching for this lion when our vehicle got stuck. The sun was setting fast and we were worried our evening light would be gone, when this guy stood up just feet away. #wildlifephotographer #canonshooter #etosha #wildlife

The wild horses of the Tonto National Forest in Arizona were quite a spectacle to watch. Multiple herds had all come together to the same area to graze and the inevitable bit of posturing ensued between rivals. #wildhorses #wildlifephotography #canonshooter

Those eyes so cunning, and quick. The red foxes were amazing to watch as they cris crossed the ground in a grid in search of food for their kits. Only stopping to feed.

Was such a privilege to watch this #redneckedgrebe and its partner build a nest, lay eggs, and take care of them until this first chick hatched over a span of some 50 days. #bird #wildlifephotography #birdlife #preciousmoments #canonshooter #beautifulbc

When mom gives you a garter snake for lunch… Was an interesting few minutes as this owlet tried to consume the snake quickly before its sibling decided to jump in.

A black bear watches the river for a returning spawning salmon, and just a few feet away the great blue heron does the same. Both of these beautiful creatures follow the seasons of food that call them back to the same location year after year.

“A band of brothers”. My first photo posted here is of the yellow bellied marmot from the interior of B.C. So fun to watch and photograph, as they learn the ropes of life from mom who sits nearby just out of the photo.
