When the largest private biomedical research funder in world, whose president is a highly accomplished woman, caves to an Executive Order, the writing is on the wall about the depth of anyone's commitment to excellence. HHMI has no shame and is enabling evil.

A new era of gaslighting and darkness has begun. Is there anyone in the private sector with guts, a spine, and deep pockets who would be willing to invest in and work with researchers and policy experts to build private analogs to what is being decimated so quickly by the new administration?
