Over the years I've collected some nice Christmas brooches. I enjoy wearing them when I have a woollen coat on. Makes me feel very festive! 🎄🎅

Flora was asking me to fill her advent calendar with treats! So I did, and now she won't leave it alone!! I told her that she has to wait until December 1st. She is NOT happy!!! 😾😂

My Cadw magazine arrived yesterday. It seems I've been to many of the places they feature in the last few weeks!! Looking forward to lots more adventures 🙂

On the way to the abbey, I walked past the remains of a Roman fort. The Latin name for Neath is Nidum. I used to live here, in this street on Roman Way, and I also used to attend the college!

I've come along to Neath Abbey. It was a Cistercian monastery, once the largest in Wales, and one of the most important! It's free to enter and very atmospheric!

Spent today putting up the Christmas decorations!🎄I know it's early, but if something brings you joy you should do it! 🤭 The lights won't be switched on until December 1st though! Mustn't get carried away!! 😂

I've bought Flora's Christmas presents! I think she'll like these. She enjoys toys she can throw up in the air and catch! And I think she'll like the gingerbread tunnel thingy too!! 😄

After Ledbury I moved on to Much Marcle and Weston's Cider. Brought a few bottles of their tasty brew home with me! 😋
