This time tomorrow night I will have rang in the new year and entertained (I hope) all the patrons in The Gap pub, Ballythomas, Co Wexford alongside my band mate Tom, for the 13th time in 14 years (-1 Covid). I’m gonna wish all on here a happy, safe, prosperous and peaceful new year early.

Spent most of yesterday and today minding a friend who was determined to do away with himself. He was determined. Depression, deep and unfathomable. His poor wife reached out to me for support. He is now in hospital at the mercy of Irelands mental health system. Light a candle and hug your loved. ❤️🙏

My Ma is livid that people will now opt out of listing a family members passing to save on funeral expenses, & will render the site useless.@theirishtimestoday.bsky.social should rethink this and run ads for florists, funeral directors, carpenters, digger drivers etc instead to monetise it. #rip.ie

I never knew this view of the station existed until tonight, having passed it a million times in daylight or by car. Luck had it that when collecting my daughter from work I needed a thousand steps to hit my goal, I happened upon it. It has its own natural vignette.
