Do not become a people pleaser. It only hindered me in the long run and now it’s going to take a lot of therapy to unlearn. I could’ve been in a completely different place in life with my friendships, finances, and career if I learned this sooner.

I’m so glad my husband and I were both on the same page when it comes to discipline of our children. We were spanked as kids and I genuinely have trauma behind it. I’d never purposefully inflict pain onto my babies. People that are weird for that and shouldn’t have kids.

My boy and i play fight all the time, the way I could be too rough while being fully cognizant of the amount of force I use… like I can imagine being mad at him and deciding to hit him because you’re definitely not thinking about how hard you’re hitting.

I had the most bonkers dream while napping that my toilet broke in my apartment and there was literal shit pooling into my 4th floor apartment and the maintenance told me it wasn’t an emergency and hung up on me. I woke up mad af until I realized it was a dream.

My husband and I agreed we won’t spank our kids. However I tell myself atleast 5 times a day he’s getting a knuckle sandwich before I pretend fight him. And I serve up a mean one too. He regularly gets different flavors.
