He’s so good at this! Deadline comic.

We just did that with a foster pup. 2 days of following our dog in and out and he was trained.

I would have guessed ovipositor.
November 26, 2025 at 5:35 AM
If that were my name, I might be inclined to just omit the middle initial.

Just make it part of the deal. You can be president, it you have to spend an equal amount of time in prison afterward.

My daughter and I are the only 2 with ADHD. I have learned coping skills that she hasn’t. I’ve certainly thought about scissor leashes!

Our house in Steilacoom shows on Zillow at twice what we sold it for in 2014. My area of oregon is even worse. In Bend median price is around $700k.

Somewhere deep inside my daughter’s room there are approximately 50 pairs of scissors that have disappeared from my stash of them…

I would have such a fat groundhog if I had a groundhog! I love watching them eat.
November 25, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Well, shit.
November 25, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Yep. The over-correction from how Vietnam vets were treated was pretty extreme. Suddenly you see soldiers and super-soldiers lionized everywhere. They and their kit objectified. I theorize it’s also why black rifles have become the choice of mass-shooters…
November 25, 2025 at 9:14 PM
He rode that high for a long time!
November 25, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Yep. Not camo, but the same stretchy GWOT stuff soldiers were issued.
November 25, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Oh, yeah, forgot. The chair shattered when it hit him.
November 25, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Yes , please. Here the let patrol deputies wear combat shirts under the vest.
November 25, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Buddy got called to a bar fight. Just as he walked in he caught a chair right across his trauma plate. Dude who swung it stopped, stared, turned around and put his arms behind his back. All that time my buddy still looked like Officer Friendly.
November 25, 2025 at 9:03 PM
All our local guys used to wear a vest under the uniform shirt. Looked professional, and they didn’t have a bunch of MOLLE shit hanging off of them that could have been left in the trunk bag.
November 25, 2025 at 9:00 PM
Move to my area and run for Sheriff!
November 25, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Everyone wants to be SWAT or a SEAL, not many want to put in the work.
November 25, 2025 at 8:55 PM
I’m certainly not anti-cop. I have a number of police friends and I bounce this stuff off them all the time. I want them to be safe, but be part of the community.
November 25, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Exactly! Our officers and deputies used to wear ties, uniform shirt and pants with a stripe. They drove cruisers. Now they drive blacked out SUVs and dress like spec ops guys.
November 25, 2025 at 8:52 PM
The kit, though, can reinforce the mentality.
November 25, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Lots of what-ifs and trade offs in policing. Cops need to be approachable while still keeping themselves safe. Military hardware can be a shield preventing that. Our swat guys (interagency CERT team)already had a lot of toys, and armored vehicles. MRAPS really weren’t necessary.
November 25, 2025 at 8:48 PM
Too many people around here like to go into the woods/mountains to end it all. We were a busy team.
