The biggest problem that the Castlevania franchise suffers from involves having an identity crisis. Classicvania and "Metroidvania" styles, in addition to a scattered fanbase of 3D fans, a messy timeline and a failed reboot series...Konami is pulled in too many directions.

Normalize shorter games. How many hours a game is doesn't sell me on it; in fact, it's a MAJOR detractor. I'm a busy adult with two kids, give me a 10 hour experience, not a 100 hour one.

Went back to EC3 tonight with my pal Brian and we got some Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo and WakuWaku7 in. Also went upstairs and messed around with some N64 and PS1 wackiness. Good times.

I'm so tired of seeing "Selected songs" on soundtracks released with limited Collector's Editions. It costs SO little to print the damn discs. Do a full soundtrack or don't do it at all, period. Absolutely inexcusable in 2025 to have "sample OSTs" in $200+ collections.

Sorry I haven't been around. Last Sunday I was getting some wood from outside and I fell backwards down our hill and hit my head pretty hard. Dr said I had a mini concussion (foggy feeling, headache, mild nausea.) I'm finally starting to feel more myself. Be careful out there!
