I read Jaws after the movie came out where I learned that not all movie adaptations should be faithful to the book. Mrs. Brody had an affair with Matt Hooper. Their coupling was so badly written I howled with laughter. I guess for the 70s it was titillating.

I’m gutted. Took my first astronomy course with Bruce back in 80’s. Learned about RASC through him. Damn.

My Welsh uncle died from his injuries after being hit by runaway carts in a coal mine. The website I found with that information www.welshcoalmines.co.uk had an extensive memorial list of miners and how they died, from the 1830s to 1999. No wonder my father refused to join the profession.

We visited it last year before a cruise. It was a memorable tour and well worth the money. Couldn’t believe the size of it!
