Sounds like a plan

Often I’ve found myself laying, looking up at a sky far removed from the lights of the city. It is there that I allow my mind to go deep into space, pondering the edges of it, and how small we really are. Yet later, as I hoist myself up, I marvel at how big my ass is. It’s all about perspective.

This takes me back to a film I watched in honor of a friend who had died of AIDS. The dream sequence in “Longtime Companion” where they all come together at a party - the dead, the living, hugging & greeting each other.
