If they ever decided to do a remake of a fallout game, I think that either the first two or 3 should get that remake.

Honestly, a fallout 1 and 2 remake in first person would be sick AF though.

So, in short: I like New Vegas. I really do. I just find fallout 3 to be a bit more of my speed. It is the reason for fallout's comeback and returning popularity in the mid 2000s.
New Vegas only increased that popularity. Nothing new.

As for the crashing. Oh god, the crashing. If you haven't saved before it crashes and you were playing for like five hours without saving, you have to do things all over again.
And yeah I know there are mods for that. Just no mod support on consoles. Yes, I play on console only. Too broke for a PC.

To me, the reputation system is what kinda ruins New Vegas for me. Like if I want to be bad, I'll be bad. I just don't want to have to align myself with a stupid faction to do so. And just picking a side in general between like 5 or so factions is mentally tasking.

Personally, I think fallout 3 is better.

It has a wonderful radio personality in Three-Dog and really good music. It has the Enclave (in its most chaotic form). It has Dogmeat. Yes the goodest boy of the capitol wasteland. The Deathclaws aren't OP.
It does not have the reputation system.
