Yeah, and the post-Trump muddling is going to be a Herculean task.
In any other admin, this would be a major wake-up call and lead to policy questions. To an extent, the FVEY relationship means a lot & undergirds a lot of the US-FVEY special relationship.
I'd chalk it up as casualty of GOP foreign policy of American autarky, as I don't see Rubio mending fences.

For California, yes. I think it's the only place where an apprenticeship and reading the law is still allowed as a way to sit for the bar.

One wonders if that's hangover from the GWOT and a degree of guilt for treating veterans as exploitable and expendable.

Yep. It's all going to be a challenge post-Trump that America will be viewed as mercurial and unreliable, in a very negative way.

Yep. It's all going to be a challenge post-Trump that America will be viewed as mercurial and unreliable, in a very negative way.
It's a real big deal that should promote a re-think on a lot of things, least of which the US' legal analysis on the boat strikes. It also points to the hollowness of the SecDef's words about confronting int'l challenges with partners & allies.
