It appears that Jimi is plugged into the Ampeg Porta-Flex, perhaps sharing with the bassist. I don’t see a guitar amp in the photo.

This was taken at the Peppermint Lounge. Jimi and the Ronettes were members of Joey Dee and the Starliters ("Peppermint Twist") at the time. Other famous members of that band at various points were the Young Rascals and Joe Pesci. Yes, *that* Joe Pesci.
