Maybe sports journalists don't have federal agency contacts to get info from in order to report on it. I'd rather them report on facts and trusted sources than speculations from an ongoing federal investigation.

It will certainly be aired locally all throughout the Mid-West. But that's business. If it's the biggest rivalry it should bring in the viewers. If it doesn't, it will only rush the end of Amazon's deal with the NFL.

Regardless, Crosby isn't the one you do that to. He will cut off his leg to get a sack. He is all in. I think he would rather play every down in a blowout loss than sit out that 2nd half in a blowout win. But maybe they want to keep him healthy to trade him in the off season.

Yeah, me neither. I guess those might fall under the portion of the contract that isn't guaranteed. Perhaps it isn't illegal, but not a smart move if you're trying to keep your players happy. Some teams will give players the bonus if they get close to it. But that's usually don't by winning teams.

Is it illegal? I feel like it's done quite a lot. Also deciding to sit a player if their trade agreement states the a traded pick will be upped a round if they played a certain amount.

In the Raider's defense, it's not he was helping them win games. Better to think of the health of the only good player on the team for next season. I believe they're keeping him from contract incentives more than trying to tank. They've had zero trouble sucking.

I didn't have ESPN or the NFLN for most of my of life. That didn't stop me from watching my local team play on Monday or Thursday because it was also on the local broadcasts for free. Even now on FOX or CBS, I don't get the all 3pm games. What is up with this fake outrage?

I just saw the video and I now get the call. He had no hands on the ball. Just forearm and wrist and there was movement. I don't know what the initial call was and that matters, but it's a TD. Rigging call doesn't make sense. It's down at the one. Why bother?

I'm not fluent enough or knowledgeable in their current political culture, but my family suggests it was to root out corrupt communists and China/North Korea sympathizers. I don't know what's true and what's lost in translation because there's so much Korean media gets wrong about US news.
