Mandelson is, and always has been, a wrong un. He has to go!
And Starmer's judgement in this situation has been shown to be absolutely shocking

Surely it is incompatible to be a member of a political party but remain an Independent councillor?

I cannot believe that some highly paid, supposedly intelligent twat actually thought it was a good idea to change the design of gravy browning bottles so that they look identical to vinegar bottles. Fucking buffoon!!

Has anyone worked out approximately how much the new tariffs will cost the UK? Because we couldn't afford the £1.5bn for winter fuel payments so it will be interesting to see what the government are seemingly grateful for in this instance

Used Uber for the first time today. It's brilliant! From booking to climbing out at journeys end, apart from saying alright? and thanks drive, there was literally zero human interaction. May not be great for people persons but bloody ideal for me!

Southgate knighted in recognition of abject failure. Kevin Sinfield totally snubbed after his tremendous charity efforts on behalf of MND and in support of Rob Burrows. Says it all about this rotten Honours system. #NewYearHonours

Just signed the petition calling for a public inquiry into the state pension age change for 1950's women.
Not that it will change anything as the 2 'current' main parties are so in favour of it, despite previous protestations from the one party that can actually change things now

NEW: The Scottish government has announced that all pensioners in Scotland will receive a winter heating payment in 2025/26.
