More proof that rich people are incredibly cheap. Cuomo had $4.9 million AGI in 2024; he donated $75K (1.53%!) to charity. He’s way below even the other cheapskates in his income bracket.

Latest Chinese nationalist absurdity: Wuhan U. forced to apologize after placing red stickers on seats (other colors on other seats) to let different groups know where to sit during opening ceremony. (If you're wondering, it's because it looked to some like the Japanese flag.)

He has not been charged with any offense, and the White House itself says that’s not what this is about.

Take a look at the Party’s study materials for the 4 Basic Principles. 3 have policy substance; 1 - Party leadership - does not. And that’s what they say is the most important, core principle. If u disagree, curious to know what u think the Party prioritizes above that. www.12371.cn/2012/06/10/A...

It’s not just bad promoting. LLMs are not designed to produce truth. They’re designed to produce text. The user error, if any, is in expecting truth. “Hallucination” is a misnomer in that it implies *mal*function. Here’s “AI Snake Oil” on this issue:

Here’s a timeline of recent Taiwanese presidents and a map showing increasing shifts in recognition over time. Is there any correlation between president’s party and pace of shifts in recognition? Too blunt to be sure, but I doubt it.
