The #Bears need to draft mostly defenders this draft. Overton and Thieneman are the big ticket adds. AJ Harris is someone who could also be a nice add. Tiernan is someone that Bears fans can hope can be the future LT for the long haul. Luckie, Allar, and Payton are more shots at the dart board.

Pick 245- Patrick Payton Edge LSU

Payton is someone who at the start of the year was looked as a high prospect but having a rough year has him dropping. After making the move from FSU to LSU his production has dropped but he does have 16 sacks before this season. Might be a nice flyer late pick

Pick 241- Drew Allar QB Penn ST

There is something about Allar that I feel he is just one good or even great coach away from being someone who could be an elite QB in the NFL. Im not saying he comes in to replace Caleb. But someone that they could bring in and grow as a future really good #2 QB

Pick 167- Lawson Luckie TE Georgia

I don't think its going to be a big shock to see the #Bears trade Cole Kmet this offseason. Its not because he is a bad player. Its the contract he has with him also being the teams number 2 TE. Luckie comes in as that true #2 TE with receiving upside.

Pick 129- Caleb Tiernan OT Northwestern

Tiernan is a massive man standing at 6'7 and is really really good at pass pro. Has a ton to learn in run pro which is why he is going to be taken around here. It never a bad idea to add an extra O-Lineman in each draft, more so if he turns into a starter.

Pick 91- AJ Harris CB Penn ST

With how injured the #Bears corners have been this season, it would be a mistake not to draft a corner at some point. Harris is a perfect fit for DA. Long, fluid, snappy, and very athletic. Al Harris working with this young man could turn him into a star.

Pick 59- Dillon Thieneman S Oregon

Kevin Byard and Jaquan Brisker are both free agents this offseason. Even if they both resign, Byard is not young and Thieneman could very much be his replacement long term. He is a great prize for a team that doesn't get Caleb Downs. He is a do it all Safety

P2.
Bailey would be someone who is going to be much better at getting to the QB but less so in the run game. However, Overton will be a really good run stopper right away with lots of upside as a pass rusher. His first good step is a reason he is a first-rounder.

Pick 27- LT Overton Edge Bama

My Draft crush, David Bailey isn't going to be in play this late in the first round. However, the #Bears still need to draft an edge rusher. That's where Overton comes into play. He probably fits Dennis Allen's system a little better than Bailey but has less upside. P1

Safety is a bigger need for the #Bears than people realize. Brisker is great and I love him, but if he can't be on the field, he should be the long-term option. So the Bears need to look at two long-term options cause Byard is also on the last year of his deal to.

DT is kind the same as edge but the #Bears have more options in round 2 but if Graham is still on the board at 10 run to the stage and draft him

CB is all building depth and like wideout no drafting one till at least round 4
