This little guy was the mascot at a language school in town where I was taking Spanish lessons. Supposedly he was “skittish” but you couldn’t prove it by me. He jumped right up on my lap and started purring the moment we met! 💙

One of the things I like about Oaxaca (and most other Mexican cities) is that there are lots of small neighborhood parks where you can just sit on a bench and relax, enjoying the day. 😎

So proud of my granddaughter today! Lucy medaled in 7 of 10 categories in the Colorado State competition of the Academic Decathlon. Three gold and two silver ; 2nd place overall ! 😁

This is Ignacio the burro who lives on a friend’s property just outside of the city of Oaxaca. I met him today when went to have lunch there with my friend.
What a sweet, friendly and delightful guy!
He followed us around begging for pats on his head. ❤️
