This app is embarrassing that it has no iPad or Mac app for it. I would open it 100X time if so. It’s DOA without .

Democrats love to cancel stuff.

And yet the good guys won’t condemn this behavior? Makes no sense.

If this thing had ProMotion it would be game over for me.

Tried to edit a document in the Google Docs app on my iPad Pro today, and it seems completely unusable, as if nobody at Google has tried it recently? (The browser-based version works OK in Safari.)

Bluesky is nothing but a rerun. I wish people would just pick one place to post or use these platforms completely different and not cross post. I’m looking at Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon and seeing all the same content. The lib tech pundits and Twitter Ex-pats need to pick one.

My prediction is the verge will continue to be insufferable in 2025.

Tribalism 101 . the tolerant people, not so tolerant.
Twitter is losing daily active users at same rate as Bluesky is gaining them.

Karma is a beautiful thing.

And this is why the democrats lost so badly this year in all forms of government. The Media has not helped their cause with such arrogance and elitist attitudes.

Social media and cable news have done more harm in dividing people than anything. It’s forcing everyone to “pick a side”. There are no social platforms left where both sides can participate. As a centrist/moderate I find myself dipping my toe in all of them, and I hate that. All echo chambers now.
The guy sitting next to me on my flight is watching Fox News silently on his IFE and I'm sorry but I'm a very petty person so I'm watching MSNBC (even tho I'm over their whole thing), also silently, just to balance things out.

Threads had the same happy go lucky “vibe” when it started. A rendezvous place for the Twitter ex-pats tribe…but soon this place too as it gains traction will gain dissonance.
Bluesky is an objectively better platform than Threads, beyond just the better vibes. Plus, it’s *literally* born of Twitter.

The optimism here is hilarious. Just know the more traction this site/app gets…the it becomes exactly what you left behind from somewhere else. Enjoy this county club for the perfect people while it last.

This platform is another indication at just how tribal the USA has become. Choosing their social platforms based on their politics? So petty

How does BlueSky and Threads expect to get any traction when they won’t even make an iPad app?
