BlueSky is a bad site used by good people. That describes most social media sites. But BlueSky is egregiously unethical. Any of you can be disappeared for baseless reasons. I've been on social media for 17 years and never been suspended. BlueSky is the first place to do so – over Johnny Cash lyrics.

A lot of Mamdani critics complained that anti-Zionism was a core part of his platform — it wasn’t.

More significant is that he didn’t have to twist himself in knots to defend Israel, which contributed to his core being pitch of being an authentic leader.

People who think New York is the most liberal city in America either don't know much about many cities in America or are scrambling to explain how a self-proclaimed democratic socialist could win an election there.
...Probably the second one.

Good riddance. Seems like as an added bonus it would improve the traffic problem too.😀

Absurd that she said this when the presidents or vice presidents of all the surrounding countries were in attendance at an inauguration which was closed to most of the Tanzanian public. Like, who is she even accusing?
Like politicians tell the same tired lies everywhere.🙄

Hellfighters by @dominiqmarks.bsky.social has a lot of underworld crime going on but then super weird things start to happen👀

I feel like this one is one of those gems which is waiting to be discovered! Outstanding cosmic thrills and horror set during the Harlem Renaissance. Wonderful characters!

In fairness, what the U.S. did in Libya and Syria, and attempts in Iran, Lebanon, and Venezuela is more aptly named 'state destruction' than 'regime change'. The U.S. hasn't the patience or influence to control these countries and so instead makes them ripe for conquest, extremism, and exploitation.
