Crazy suggestion: use away games (in the first half of the season anyway) to field predominantly young side. Less affected by fatigue AND gets us ahead of the U21 mins for a change and then we actually give U21 players like Vasconcelos and Ciccarelli the starts they deserve to show what they can do.
