It would be good if they gave the interconnect carbon, majority comes from france which is from nuclear so the actual figures are slightly higher

Any reports of piracy for these types of vessels, it sounds like there are ebough of these plying the ocean to create an incentive for pirates (or rival cartels) to intercept them

There was an interesting thread that dissected flood inflation as a whole into those most impacted by changing climate or with carbon inputs which found they were driving most of the inflation

The Guardian had an interview with head of DeepMin on this, as if often the way with tech he brushed off the question and said its one for the politicians - much as the downsides of social media were brushed off www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

It's an interesting one, the electricity example gives an idea of those that would do it for a very small financial incentive. There's a bit more disconnect between where you live and where you impact with water and waste (your water is affected but those upstream of you)

My neck of the world, I'm a fan of the Swan if you like a cosy pub (booking reqd), the new kid in town is the white hart which gets favourable reviews (bottomless sides) but is a much larger venue and backed by larger finance, shout to the pelham arms as well
