My wife is Polish and after the referendum, one of our neighbours asked her if she would have to go back to Poland, despite holding an UK passport.

My first music memories were Doris Day, Petula Clark, and the big musicals of the late 50s/60s. I don’t listen much to these now but if I hear a song from that time, I’m transported back. Nothing else does that but music.

We were watching the series Paradise where nuclear war breaks out and destroys large parts of the US. This idiot speaker Johnson would say he wasn’t aware as he hadn’t seen the news because he was busy.
