Disabled people are disabled. It is a neutral descriptive term about our experiences/bodies/abilities/etc.

I swear to the Gods if anybody calls me uniquely abled we are going to have a problem.

I don't think people understand that marginalized people often cannot get any movement at eradicating oppression because they lack power. It is the people with privilege who must be speaking up because otherwise oppression cannot and will not end.

25 years ago my dad got sick around this time and was dying. He asked me to not give up looking for information on the names of his grandparents. He had been searching for them, even though he lived next door to one set he only knew their first names!

This is the culmination of that research.
