I have a handful of beyond talented mutuals (way beyond my skill level) who work / worked on big name shows who are STILL trying to find consistent work in the industry. There is no way anyone would consider their work weak by any means. That art director is not correct in this thinking.

Also I found I was too much of a daydreamer. I always thought of show ideas and characters and such. Would’ve been a huge regret to not pursue animation.
