because the season is over, a rebuild which is going to be messy is going to take 2-3 years, Waddle won't be here when we are good, get something for him now is the thought process.

This roster blows, everyone knows it. You sell off pieces to get future picks, any pick in any round. Even the Jets figured it out

The roster sucks, they are 2-7, they just fired the GM, reports are the interim GM has 0% chance of keeping the job, the head coach is garbage and will probably get fired, they have no cap space next year....we have NOTHING TO BUILD AROUND. Trade off guys you will cut anyway in March, and get picks
