I didn't even get to wear the coat I bought for the trip (nor the cozy cabled jumper I knit for the trip) as it was solidly 55F the whole week! Can't help but feel I've forgotten something else...ah well, I'll be back!

Thanks for a lovely time, London, I managed to get a lot of wackiness into one week: 3 cities, a bunch of friends, too much cheese, lotsa birds, a surprising amount of Victorian machinery, so much laughter, and the quintessential British experience of a train system menaced by mid-to-light rain.

Went to the British Museum today. Very pleased to see that we as a species have always felt the need to make/collect/revere/steal Little Guys.

Yesterday the air was so thick I could barely see the San Gabriel mountains. It’s currently 90 degrees and 20% humidity, the ball is going to FLY tonight. (That means a quick and easy ballgame tonight, right fellas?!)

Time to think about something other than Game 3 of the World Series, but something almost as ridiculous: another No More Jockeys comic! In this one we try out new drinking vessels and learn how to measure liquid volume (but not how to sterilize things).

He can take it up with whoever's in charge of the subtitles!

Still doing No More Jockeys comics for #drawtober! This one feels most appropriate for #Wattober as well, as Watson takes us on an unexpected educational journey through anatomy and phylogeny.

Everyone should have a particle physicist in their life to make sure you maintain a healthy level of existential dread. Mine won't stop teasing me about my very rational fear of neutrinos.

More No More Jockeys comic nonsense for #drawtober! Key struggles with the definition of 'spinster' in a way that only Key can. Horne and Watson try their best.

I’ll say it again: I love you, Dodgers, with my whole heart, but what in the heck is this nonsense? I nearly cried.

Another No More Jockeys #drawtober comic! In this one, we play everyone's favorite game, Big or Small, Thick or Dainty!
October 13, 2025 at 8:23 AM
Whoops, it's #drawtober again, so everyone has to deal with another batch of my silly NMJ comics. In this one, we discuss the physics of pastry eating, and the dimensions and relative chewability of macs.

I couldn’t let this be the only drawing posted for Key’s birthday, as much as I love and respect the artist. So here, a slightly scrunched birthday Tim! (Shhh, it’s still the 2nd in LA!)

Third and final week of Tour de Fleece! Spun a total of 19.3 oz, 1400 yards/1300 meters! But if you count the singles (which I think you can in TDF?) I spun 4.7 km or nearly 3 miles of fiber!

Tour de Fleece week 2 - late because I had to work all weekend and am now behind on everything fun, boo. But look at the colors!

Tour de Fleece week 1! Trying to master long draw this year, seems to be coming along nicely! Also I think my first attempt at a fractal-ish spin? All spun on my Spinolution Pollywog. So excited!

Hi, hello, if anyone needs me, I'm dead. My friend Jonah did a great interview with Alex Horne, who, for no reason at all, showed off my comic book. Many thanks to Key for delivering them for me, to Horne for the very kind words, and to Watson for measuring that pizza like that I guess.

Post a celebrity you’ve been told you resemble.

Apparently we’ve got the same “usual shit eyes.”

The entirety of Northeast Los Angeles mourned the day this foot clinic went out of business and we lost the rotating Happy Foot Sad Foot sign.

I've found a nearly identical but totally wrong gravestone in this churchyard. Fascinating!

Anyway. Go get the book, it’s really good.
