Almost cancelled my subscription after the lack of endorsement debacle but listened to the journalists who worked there and refrained. This was the final straw. Democracy is dead at the Post and my money will be better spent to support independent journalists fighting for it.

Got to combine 2 of my fave holiday traditions today — picking out books to donate and shopping small at Hickebee’s Books in Willow Glen. If you’re local, they’re donating the books to children/young adults in foster care — you can pick books out, donate money, or do a combination of the two.
