I suppose I should say: I am against any use of AI recreationally, and by companies seeking to profit. The ONLY people who should be accessing this technology at this point are scientists and innovators attempting to improve it to correct its safety and ethical issues.

I think there are a lot of really cool potential applications for machine learning tech, and basically all of them are in the field of automating stuff that people currently have to do but is just tedium. I've yet to see a use case for GenAI specifically that wasn't ghoulish, though.

This technology was released to consumers WAY too early. It's not ethical, high-quality, or safe. We need to fight for better, instead of accepting and normalizing this poorly-made, dangerous, early-iteration of AI tech they're force-feeding us.
