This painting I call "A Wild Garden" is meant as a contrast to the grim January 20 "Sees No Evil" piece that evoked the California wildfires and the growing sense of menace afflicting so many of us of late. Gouache on canvas board

Yesterday's painting started out to honor California fires, but morphed into this scary piece when the menace from above and then the upturned face emerged. Now it is titled "Sees No Evil. Gouache on canvas board.
