Nobody wants to take up wet trades anymore!

Look at how the Dutch build houses, they had the same worker shortage in the 70s

Councils should be allowed to borrow to build houses. Huge source of rentail income to fund services! They can re-zone and develop much cheaper & faster, they can then lever assets to borrow more to build more. Win win, economic growth!
