On Sunday it was time to visit the Alex Jack Cup final, one of the many non-League trophies in Scotland. Our neighbours Whitburn Juniors won it on a very sticky pitch. Real grass pitches in December 🥰

I went to Gala Fairydean Rovers Ams. v Hawick Legion last weekend, because it was played at The Greenyards. This is the home of Melrose Rugby, but they played away so Gala could hire the pitch. First time I've seen a football match here. Lovely town as well.

What a stadium. Sadly, I've never visited it.
Not the nicest, but the coolest stadium. One ground #groundhoppers growing up now will never be able to experience. This place was unique from the muddy pitch to how close the fans were to the pitch. The Baseball Ground in Derby is sorely missed. #thebaseballground #dcfc #dcfcfans

My favourite league in Scotland is the Highland League. Why? See for yourself. Lovely grounds and some great towns.

What is your favourite Scottish ground? Mine, by some distance, is Cappielow Park of Greenock Morton. The old main stand, the terracing and the brilliant backdrop with the crane make it the perfect ground imo.

Stade Louis II 🇲🇨
I don't illustrate stadiums often enough, but when I do I like to pick stadiums with interesting features and Monaco's stadium has those gorgeous vertical arches so it was a no brainer.
Had a lot of fun with this one, La Bombonera next!

Just back from 2,5 weeks in Argentina. For me, it's the ultimate football country. Not only the big clubs are great to visit, but I also loved the smaller ones in the provinces.
