Between this movie and Punch Drunk Love, I think it’s clear that PTA has had some epically disastrous experiences on the phone with customer service.

Yes that's because a person hating themselves and wanting to die while shooting up the school they grew up going to doesn't echo a codified, formal ideology. Is it messed up and awful? yes! Its not in line with any organized political undercurrents though (though you may imagine it does).

Nashvillian here - thanks for bringing it up but you might need to clarify *which* Nashville shooter you're talking about. The very explicitly Nazi-brainwashed Antioch shooter, or the off-their-rocker Covenant shooter who expressed zero political motivations beyond wanting to be notorious.
