made some pride themed kandi singles to hopefully give to people at a pride event
kandi bracelets made from plastic beads laying on a keyboard piano. the first set is three different rainbow patterns and "pride" in letter beads, the second set is two transgender pride patterns, the third is a bracelet with rainbow and trans flags, fourth set is two rainbow bracelets, and the last set is asexual, aromantic, and aroace bracelets.

I didn't originally intend on sharing this so the back page having definitions was an afterthought, if it's hard to read the text is also in the alt

this started as a sort of journaling project, so while I went back and made sure I wasn't using any words completely wrong it's not perfect, it's personal
eighth page, "I use labels to communicate and for me AroAce is as specific as I feel I can get when broadly describing myself, such as in an introduction" beneath that, a furry dog says "I feel like not just my attraction fluctuates, but the specific labels I can use to describe that attraction fluctuates, too" the dog is pointing down at the words "demi", "gray", and, "flux", scribbled out in a black fog. beneath the fog is, "getting more specific isn't really useful to me, AroAce is a label I only use to quickly communicate myself with as much accuracy as I can" ninth page, "sometimes I'm repulsed by sex and romance" between that text is a doodle of a disgusted furry dog tearing up paper with a heart on it, "sometimes I love it as long as it's not me" to the right is an excited furry dog reading a book on the floor, "(romance novels, porn, etc.)" tenth page, "when discussing myself more in depth with friends sometimes I might say" three identical furry dogs exclaim, "objectum, amatopunk, poly, auto" beside the speech bubble there is an asterisk, and beneath all the dogs is, "even that I practice relationship anarchy" an asterisk matching the previous one is beside "sexual and romantic don't tend to match up for me so I usually specify" the main text continues, "normally I don't use these words because I feel more free to be myself and change when i describe things in a personal way, labels are seen as rigid even when the experiences are not" eleventh page, "I have so much love for my friends, my computer, myself" a joyful furry dog between this text is holding a computer monitor that says, "some objects feel like close friends" below that there's text that reads, "I show myself affection through others because I love me, too" and at the bottom a laid back but somewhat nervous dog says, "i rarely say i'm auto or objectum because the attraction is mostly tertiary, but the experiences are relatable and comparison is useful"

I think I'll upload this as a PDF somewhere but here it's easy to add commentary and alt text (which I had to guess about, as far as of how to format pages primarily comprised of text) yes I see the multiple identical typos, it adds character

here's a 16 page personal zine I made about being aroace, spread across 4 posts. there's some stuff that I'd change if I made further iterations but I don't want to overwork it
