Adding to the Scrivener chorus! I’ve been using it since I was 18 and still probably don’t take advantage of most of the features, but just being able to see all my chapters/scenes/etc. at a glance and easily jump between them is hugely helpful to me, especially when revising.

Also the world's hugest and loudest fly, which has spent the past three days testing my resolve and ruining my home life and is at this very moment buzzing around my head. Also, the good folks on the Indies Introduce panel are (afaik) the first people to read my book who are not family, close friends, or my agent or editor. That complete strangers met the Creatures in my brain and loved them is, for me, a joy so unprecedented that I struggle to wrap my mind around it.
