I am too destroyed to do much of a eulogy today. But I woke up today to find Xiao Hu had passed this morning.
This was a massive shock because of surprise, and also because she was one of the best dogs ever. The mountain really won't be the same without her. ❤️💔

I can pet Percy for a pretty extended time while he eats, while Brownie is still stubborn but did pretty good this week and seems to be making slooow progress.
As you can see, he feels comfortable enough to lie down near me sometimes.
He's stubborn, but at least he's handsome. 😍

He doesn't eat as much as Brownie, but he should maybe eat a little less too. After seeing them starving, I feel a natural urge to stuff them as much as I can 😅, but for the sake of their health I should resist.
